What is Microsoft Teams Phone
Microsoft Teams Phone can be added-on to the Microsoft Teams. It is officially called the Microsoft Teams Phone Standard, and these licences offer features of Teams phone system that is on a per-user basis. It includes features such as:

- Call forwarding
- Caller ID
- Call queues
- Transferring of calls
This extra licence is already included in plans such as Office 365 E5 and Microsoft 365 E5. If you have the highest level-suite license, then you already have access to Microsoft Teams Phone Standard. If you have the original suite, then you will have to purchase the add-on per user license. Frontline workers (F1 or F3) can avail a special discounted cost. There is no licensing fee for users that use Teams on desktop or mobile.
